I took this jacket out in a wet snowfall and stayed completely dry, thanks to the fully taped seams. The 80/60g insulation kept me warm without feeling bulky, so I could still move easily on the slopes.

The insulation is just right—keeps me warm on the lift but doesn’t puff up like a marshmallow when I’m hiking. I’ve been out in a few wet snow days and stayed completely dry thanks to the taped seams.

The taped seams really seal out the wind on the chairlift, and the 2-layer Gore-Tex fabric breathes well during active runs. I was glad to find the 80g insulation in the body is just right for colder days without feeling bulky.
